Earth Day is on April 22nd.  This day was started by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson in 1970.   It is now so popular that major retailers and brands are recognizing the day with freebies and deals!   

Barnes & Noble –   Barnes & Noble is giving an extra 20 percent discount on Earth-friendly toys and games ordered online.  Plus receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more. 

Chipotle – Purchase Chipotle’s “repurposed billboard” lunch bag ($18) before April 14, and you’ll get earn a free burrito on Earth Day. Made from old Chipotle billboards, these waterproof bags have a reinforced handle and side seams, a classic top-roll Velcro strap closure, and a convenient extra-large side pocket. Chipotle says these unique bags are nearly indestructible, and all proceeds will benefit the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation.


Disney Store –  Bring in 5 plastic bags on Sunday, April 22nd, and the Disney Store will trade you for one of their reusable shopping bags!

The National Park Service is offering free admission to all 397 national parks to celebrate Earth Day and National Park Week, April 21 to April 29.  Check with each national park as well because there are many free events happening this week.

Origins – Bring one of your current skincare products (either full or empty) to any Origins counter along with this form, and they’ll swap it out for a full-size sample of one of their gentle, high-performance cleansers.
